Worthington’s Citizens Police Academy is starting a new session in January. If you’ve ever been curious about what local law enforcement does day to day, this is a great opportunity to learn.
The program gives participants a behind the scenes look at police work: training exercises, ride alongs, understanding how officers handle different situations.
Why this matters for our community
Programs like this build trust between residents and police. When you understand what officers deal with and how they’re trained, it creates better communication and stronger community relationships.
For families considering a move to Worthington, this is another example of why the community here is different. The city invests in programs that bring residents and local government together.
